PAYMENTS

SUMMER/MARCH BREAK CAMPS

Payment is required within 2 weeks of camp start to confirm enrollment. If a camp is full with a waiting list, we reserve the right to offer any unpaid spots to the waiting students.

SCHOOL YEAR: GROUP CLASSES

Group classes run from September to June. It is assumed that all students are enrolling for the entire year unless they inform us otherwise.

 

Our school year is divided into three terms:

  • Fall (Sep-Dec)

  • Winter (Jan-Mar)

  • Spring (Mar-Jun)

Prices listed on the signup page are the amount due for the current term.

Tuition fees are due at the beginning of each term.

Tuition fees must be paid by the second week of classes in order to reserve a spot. 

All fees for the 2022-2023 year must be paid by March 31, 2023.

We accept Visa, MasterCard and Interac e-transfer online.

We accept credit/debit cards, cash and cheques at the front desk.

SCHOOL YEAR: TRIAL CLASSES

Interested students may try out any group class for one week with no commitment, free of charge.

SCHOOL YEAR: PRIVATE LESSONS

Private lessons run weekly from September to June. 

There are two enrolment options:

 

Pay-as-you-go: $24/30mins

Billed on a monthly basis; tuition is due at the beginning of each month.

Annual rate: $750/30mins weekly or $1425/60mins weekly

Operates on the same schedule as group classes (see above).

Tuition for each term is 1/3 of the annual total.

Tuition is due by the second week of classes.

30mins weekly = $250 per term

60mins weekly = $475 per term

Annual fees are based on 33 lessons. Our school year actually spans 36 weeks; this allows for cancellations due to weather, illness etc.

 

ATTENDANCE 

GENERAL

Students are expected to attend all classes, as well as rehearsals and performances where applicable. There are no refunds for missed classes.

PRIVATE MUSIC LESSONS

If a lesson is cancelled by us (storm day, teacher ill or away), there is no charge. Makeup lessons may be available for missed time, subject to the teacher's availability.

HOLIDAYS

There will be no regular weekly classes Thanksgiving Weekend, Remembrance Day,

Christmas Break, March Break, Easter Weekend or Victoria Day Weekend.

 

STORM DAYS

As the weather changes, we may have to cancel classes due to road conditions. We do not cancel automatically if schools are cancelled. We will send updates by email and social media by 2 p.m. on stormy weekdays and 8 a.m. on stormy Saturdays to advise whether classes have been postponed. We have placed extra time in our schedule to allow for make-up time through extra rehearsals and classes if needed.

DISCOUNTS

 

EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT BUNDLES

We encourage children to participate in multiple disciplines within the performing arts school. Therefore we have created a pricing bundle for 3 or more group classes at 10% off. Private lessons cannot be included in the pricing bundles.

 

FAMILY RATE

For families of 3 or more siblings, we offer a 10% discount on classes for the third (or more) child.

REFUNDS

 

SCHOOL YEAR

We are able to provide a refund for program fees up until the second week of classes each term, provided we are informed of cancellation via the office email (info@iactspa.com) or by calling our office (506-674-9192). No refund can be given for the first term after the second week of classes. However, you will not be charged for the winter or spring term. The same policy is in effect for the second and third terms.
